Denise & Jeff’s Classic Wedding at Villa Valentini Bonaparte

PH: Wurzbach Fisher
Planning: Joanne Johnson

A Romantic White & Green Celebration in an Iconic Italian Villa

Some weddings are designed to feel timeless from the very first glance.

Denise & Jeff’s wedding at Villa Valentini Bonaparte was exactly that kind of celebration — classic, romantic and beautifully cinematic, with a floral design language rooted in elegance, softness and Italian refinement.

Set within the breathtaking architecture of the villa, the entire wedding was imagined as a graceful dialogue between flowers, light and space. The aesthetic was intentionally classic, yet never predictable: a palette of white and green, cascading florals, suspended chandeliers, imperial tables and a ceremony set inside the villa’s spectacular amphitheatre.

Designed by Arianna Bassi, founder of Biancospino Flowers and wedding designer, the celebration became an immersive experience where every detail was curated to enhance the natural beauty of the venue and bring the couple’s vision to life with quiet, unforgettable luxury.

A Classic White & Green Wedding Palette

For Denise & Jeff, the floral direction embraced one of the most timeless wedding palettes of all: white and green.

Elegant, fresh and endlessly refined, this color story was the perfect choice for a couple dreaming of a romantic Italian wedding with a sophisticated soul.

White roses, delicate seasonal blooms and lush greenery were layered throughout the spaces of Villa Valentini Bonaparte, creating a floral atmosphere that felt soft, graceful and naturally connected to the architecture of the villa.

The goal was not to overwhelm the venue, but to enhance it.

Every floral composition was designed to feel intentional, balanced and organic — bringing a sense of movement and romance to each part of the celebration.

Cascading White Flowers on the Villa Façade

One of the most memorable design moments of the wedding was the floral installation created along the beautiful façade of Villa Valentini Bonaparte.

White flowers appeared to fall delicately from the architecture, creating a poetic cascading effect that transformed the villa into a living floral backdrop.

The installation was designed to feel elegant and scenographic, while still remaining natural and refined. It brought softness to the architectural lines of the villa and created a romantic visual identity that accompanied the couple throughout the day and into the evening.

This is where wedding design becomes more than decoration.

At Biancospino Flowers, flowers are used as a visual language — a way to frame emotions, create atmosphere and turn a space into something deeply personal.

A Ceremony in the Villa’s Amphitheatre

The ceremony took place in the spectacular amphitheatre of Villa Valentini Bonaparte, one of the most atmospheric settings of the entire celebration.

Guests were guided along a stepped aisle decorated with floral compositions that followed the natural rhythm of the architecture, leading the eye toward the heart of the amphitheatre.

At the center, the altar area was styled with two large classical urns filled with romantic white flowers and greenery.

The result was elegant, timeless and deeply emotional.

Rather than creating a traditional ceremony setup, Arianna designed a composition that respected the unique geometry of the amphitheatre while adding softness, volume and floral beauty to the space.

The ceremony felt almost theatrical — intimate and grand at the same time.

Imperial Tables with White Roses, Greenery & Suspended Chandeliers

For the reception dinner, the atmosphere shifted into refined Italian elegance.

Two imperial tables were dressed with white roses, delicate greenery and candlelit details, creating a tablescape that felt classic, luminous and beautifully romantic.

Above the tables, suspended chandeliers added a sense of grandeur and old-world charm, bringing light, sparkle and movement to the entire dinner setting.

The effect was luxurious without feeling excessive.

Every element — from the floral arrangements to the lighting, from the rhythm of the tables to the surrounding landscape — was carefully considered to create a cohesive visual experience.

This is the essence of bespoke wedding design: not simply choosing flowers, but shaping the entire atmosphere of the day.

When the Villa Lit Up After Sunset

As the sun went down, Villa Valentini Bonaparte transformed once again.

Colored lights illuminated the façade, creating a dramatic and cinematic atmosphere for the couple’s first dance and cake cutting.

The romantic elegance of the day slowly became something more glamorous and celebratory — a perfect transition from formal dinner to evening party.

The villa glowed with warmth and energy, while the floral installations continued to frame the most emotional moments of the night.

For Denise & Jeff, the result was a wedding that felt classic during the day and magical after dark.

A celebration of romance, beauty and atmosphere — Italian elegance with a modern emotional edge.

The Art of Classic Wedding Design

A classic wedding should never feel generic.

For Biancospino Flowers, timeless design is always about proportion, atmosphere and personal interpretation.

Denise & Jeff’s wedding was a perfect example of how a white and green palette can feel fresh, luxurious and deeply romantic when treated with intention.

From the floral staircase aisle to the classical ceremony urns, from the suspended chandeliers to the cascading flowers on the villa façade, every element was designed to belong naturally to the space.

Nothing was copied. Nothing was repeated.

Every choice was created around the couple, the villa and the emotional rhythm of the day.

That is where the magic happens — when wedding design becomes a living experience, and every detail feels as though it could only have existed in that exact moment, for that exact couple.
