Lauren & Zach’s wedding at Villa di Maiano, set in the hills above Florence, was one of those celebrations where every detail felt intentional, stylish and full of personality. Romantic, glamorous and beautifully alive, their wedding brought together the timeless charm of a historic Tuscan villa with a floral design that felt fresh, bold and editorial.

A Wedding Palette with Personality
For Lauren & Zach, the floral palette was anything but predictable.
Instead of choosing soft neutrals or a classic all-white floral direction, the design embraced a bolder and more expressive color story: burgundy, red, blush pink, pale rose and touches of fresh green.
The result was romantic, but with a fashion edge.
Deep red roses and dahlias brought intensity. Soft pink blooms added femininity. Creamy tones created balance. Green details gave the palette freshness and contrast.

Set within the historic atmosphere of the villa, the space was enhanced with romantic floral compositions in the couple’s signature palette. The design created a delicate contrast between the ancient stone, the warm Tuscan light and the richer tones of the flowers.
Rather than overpowering the setting, the floral styling was created to feel naturally connected to the space.
The aisle and altar area became a refined floral frame for the couple’s vows — romantic, expressive and full of movement.

The Bridal Bouquet: Romantic, Bold & Effortlessly Chic
Lauren’s bouquet perfectly captured the spirit of the entire wedding.
Romantic but not too sweet. Bold but still elegant. Fresh, feminine and unmistakably stylish.
The bouquet combined deep burgundy flowers, soft blush roses, pale pink blooms and creamy accents, tied together with a refined ribbon detail. The result felt intimate and fashion-led, almost like a floral accessory designed specifically for the bride’s look.

Candlelit Reception Design with a Couture Soul
For the dinner reception, the tables were styled to feel warm, elegant and immersive.
Long tables were dressed with floral compositions in rich red, burgundy, pink and cream tones, layered with greenery, fruit accents, crystal glassware and glowing candlelight.
Tall taper candles and glass hurricanes brought height and atmosphere, while the floral arrangements moved naturally along the tables, creating a feeling of abundance without heaviness.
The overall effect was luxurious but alive — not stiff, not overly formal, but full of rhythm and personality.
Inside the villa’s historic rooms, chandeliers, frescoed walls and candlelit tables created a romantic tension between old-world Italian grandeur and contemporary wedding design.
It was intimate, glamorous and beautifully theatrical.
Flowers, Fruit & Italian Still-Life Inspiration
One of the most beautiful details of Lauren & Zach’s reception design was the use of fruit within the tablescape.
Grapes and seasonal fruit added texture, depth and a subtle Italian still-life feeling to the dinner setting. Combined with lush florals and candlelight, they created a table design that felt painterly, sensual and deeply connected to the atmosphere of Tuscany.

The atmosphere became more glamorous, more playful, more alive. Music filled the rooms, candlelight reflected from the chandeliers, and the rich floral palette continued to frame the party with warmth and drama.
The cake-cutting moment brought another layer of magic to the night — joyful, sparkling and cinematic.
