Corinne & David’s Elegant Spring Wedding at Villa Gamberaia

PH: Vlasta Weddings

A Timeless Celebration Among the Iconic Italian Gardens of Florence

Some weddings never go out of style.

Corinne & David’s destination wedding at Villa Gamberaia in Florence was the perfect expression of timeless Italian elegance  romantic, refined and effortlessly sophisticated, with a contemporary softness that made every detail feel fresh and deeply personal.

Set within one of Tuscany’s most breathtaking historic villas, the celebration unfolded among sculptural gardens, panoramic terraces and iconic architectural perspectives that have made Villa Gamberaia one of the most desired wedding destinations in Italy.

Designed by Arianna Bassi, founder of Biancospino Flowers and wedding designer, the wedding embraced a spring-inspired floral vision where delicate color palettes, organic floral movement and thoughtful styling came together to create an atmosphere that felt both editorial and timeless.

The result was a celebration suspended between classic Italian beauty and modern romanticism.

Villa Gamberaia  The Art of Italian Garden Elegance

Perched in the hills overlooking Florence, Villa Gamberaia is renowned worldwide for its extraordinary Italian gardens and cinematic atmosphere.

For Corinne & David, the villa offered the perfect balance between grandeur and intimacy  elegant yet emotional, refined yet welcoming.

The design approach focused on enhancing the natural beauty and scenographic character of the location rather than overpowering it.

Every floral installation and decorative detail was carefully considered in dialogue with the architecture, garden symmetry and visual rhythm of the villa itself.

At Biancospino Flowers, wedding design is always approached as a complete aesthetic composition where flowers, space, atmosphere and guest experience exist in harmony.

A Fresh Spring Palette for the Reception

For the reception dinner, Arianna designed a floral concept inspired by the freshness and softness of a Tuscan spring garden.

The tables were styled with delicate floral arrangements displayed in elegant glass bottles, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere throughout the dinner setting.

Soft seasonal blooms in fresh spring tones introduced movement, texture and lightness to the tablescape while maintaining a polished editorial aesthetic.

Rather than formal or overly structured centerpieces, the floral compositions were intentionally designed to feel organic and naturally layered  as if the flowers had effortlessly bloomed across the tables.

The result was romantic, luminous and quietly luxurious.

A Timeless Ceremony Palette in White, Green & Blush

For the ceremony styling, the floral direction shifted toward a more timeless and refined palette of white and green accented with subtle touches of blush.

The elegant floral urns framing the ceremony space brought softness and sculptural balance to the gardens of Villa Gamberaia, complementing the villa’s iconic symmetry and architectural beauty.

The overall effect felt sophisticated and understated, allowing the emotion of the ceremony and the natural scenery to remain at the center of the experience.

The bride’s bouquet followed the same floral language graceful, romantic and intentionally refined.

Soft white blooms, layered greenery and delicate blush accents created a bouquet that felt modern yet timeless, perfectly aligned with Corinne’s effortless bridal style.

Floral Design Inspired by Atmosphere & Emotion

For Arianna Bassi and Biancospino Flowers, floral design is never simply decorative.

Every wedding begins with a careful study of atmosphere, color harmony and emotional storytelling.

For Corinne & David’s wedding, the goal was to create a celebration that felt elegant without becoming rigid  where softness, movement and natural beauty could coexist with the grandeur of Villa Gamberaia.

The floral styling was intentionally balanced between classic Italian luxury and a more contemporary editorial sensibility inspired by fashion imagery and modern destination weddings.

The result was a wedding aesthetic that felt elevated, timeless and emotionally resonant.

A Celebration That Felt Effortlessly Romantic

As guests moved through the gardens of Villa Gamberaia surrounded by candlelight, spring florals and the golden Tuscan sunset, the atmosphere became almost cinematic.

Every detail contributed to an experience that felt immersive yet deeply personal  from the softness of the floral palette to the relaxed elegance of the reception styling.

Corinne & David’s wedding embodied the beauty of intentional design: where flowers, architecture and emotion come together naturally to shape unforgettable memories.
